Let's be honest here, everyone loves sex. It is a basic human need and is the vessel that creates all living beings. Sometimes, however (especially as women), we get in a rut and need a way to put a little pep in our step. Here are 5 ways to increase the female libido. 

1. Kegels

Kegels are an exercise, named after Dr. Kegel, in which a woman contracts the muscles that can hinder urination. This exercise can be done in any position and strengthens the vaginal canal as well as bladder control.  Kegels activate the vaginal muscles and stimulate sexual desires. 

2. Red Wine

Red wine is an aphrodisiac. It contains copious amounts of polyphenols; an antioxidant which can increase blood flow to arousal areas. Stop whining and get wining on those hump day date nights! 

3. Yoga

You may think that the downward dog just helps your spine alignment, but Yoga increases blood flow to all parts of the body including the genitals. If you can't get down then get down(ward dog). 

4. Dark Chocolate



70% coco, or raw cacao (unprocessed coco), naturally stimulates the production of dopamine in the brain while bioflavonoids increase blood flow. This dynamic duo will make you feel energized and ready for some extra lovin'.

5. Work it Girl!

Generally exercise can have many positive influences on your body: stimulates your blood flow, regulates your hormone levels, and boosts self esteem. Working out is not just beneficial to your entire body but to your sex life as well!
