Fall is here, farmer's markets are still booming, and it is now the perfect weather to enjoy a picnic. Picnics don't have to be costly and neither does art. The Getty shows free exhibits (parking is not included at $15) all year long showcasing some of the finest art featured around the world. They have numerous benches, grass lawns, and scenic eateries perfect for your DIY picnic.
Do's & Don'ts of the Getty
DO bring your own water, it is often over looked but necessary for every meal
DO bring a picnic blanket, in the morning the grass can be moist from dew
DO check the Getty Website for closure dates, times, & exhibition schedules
Do NOT bring wine or other alcoholic beverages, they will check your bag and throw it out
Do NOT bring sharp knifes, they will ask you to bring it back to your car or throw it out
