Hump Day | Talk Dirty to Me ;)

Think Dirty?

I may not like to shower, but my products are always clean! Think dirty is an app that details a comprehensive list of ingredients in your beauty products. It encloses details from scientific studies entailing what products cause harm to the human body. Many beauty products contain ingredients that contribute to 19 out of 20 most common types of breast cancer. Women use on average 20 times more beauty product than men, therefor giving them a higher chance of disease caused by these carcinogens.

The skin is the largest organ in the body and is constantly exposed to disease, pollution, radiation, and many more. By being aware and using products cognitively and avoiding ones that cause damage and harm to the human body, you can increase your life expectancy and live an overall healthier life.

Something to note:

Fragrance is considered a trade secret of the industry. Companies do not have to disclose what ingredients and chemicals comprise to make their sent. Within the same company, different products will have various levels of toxicities, based off unscented vs scented.
